In most cases a single overflowing corner means the outlet next to it is plugged, often with compacted leaves or seed fluff from nearby willows. The rest of the gutter may be fairly clean. We clear the outlet and the downpipe beneath it, then test the flow so the overflow stops.
Usually, yes. We work upwards from the shoe or gully at the bottom and down from the outlet at the top, breaking up moss, silt and twigs until water passes through freely. If the pipe is clear but water backs up underground, the drain will need a drainage specialist.
